Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Pope County is a program provided by a partnership between River Valley United Way and Dollywood Foundation. These FREE books are provided by YOUR donations!

The imagination library program provides a free, age appropriate book each month to children age 0-5.  Each month a new, carefully selected book is mailed directly to the child's home.
Reading to babies sparks their brain development and creativity.  It helps them succeed later when they enter school, and sharing books with your baby lays the foundation for academic success, a healthy self-esteem and confidence to pursue personal and professional goals.
Who is eligible?
Preschool children (birth until their fifth birthday) who live in Pope County.
What Are My Responsibilities?
  1. Be a resident of Pope County. (Live in Atkins, Dover, Hector, London, Pottsville, Russellville, and portions of Pelsor or Tilly)
  2. Submit an official registration form, completely filled out by parent or guardian (form must be approved and on file with River Valley United Way) or register online.
  3. Update your address any time it changes. Books are mailed to the address listed on the official registration form. If the child’s address changes, you must contact River Valley United Way to continue receiving books.
  4. Read with your child.
