Planned gifts are the best way to achieve your financial goals while promoting the long-term social health of our community. Planned gifts will be used to anticipate future community needs and create, develop and fund innovative solutions.
Will And Revocable Trust Bequests
Many donors who have supported River Valley United Way over the years feel inclined to continue that support after death by leaving a bequest.
Any gift made from an estate or a revocable trust removes the asset from the estate for estate tax purposes. (Always consult with competent counsel for tax advice.)

Five Things You Can Do
1. Participate in the 2008 NALC Food Drive on May 10th.
2. Educate yourself on community issues and spend June 21st, the longest day of the year, advocating for your community.
3. Create a collection point at your business or office to collect school supplies for the annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive on July 26th.
4. Visit our booth at the Business Expo August 5th & 6th to record how you live united.
5. Organize a team and register to volunteer for the 5th Annual River Valley United Way Day of Caring on September 12th.
