Volunteer - Share Your Strength
Everyday ordinary people are accomplishing extraordinary things by volunteering. You don’t have to have great talent or power to get involved in your community. From reading to children to offering tax preparation assistance for hard working families to delivering meals to homebound seniors, there are hundreds of volunteer options all around you, right here in the River Valley.
Although priorities for United Way action are set locally, common themes include:
- Helping children succeed
- Strengthening and supporting families
- Promoting self-sufficiency
- Building vital and safe neighborhoods
