Who's in Our Window?

We are so happy to be able to feature our funded partners in our west-side window! This month, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley came out to decorate the window and share their mission and vision.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley prides itself on the programs available to their youth ranging from age 6-18. Our programs are designed after five core areas: Character and Leadership development, education and career development, the arts, sports, fitness and recreation, and health and life skills. The clubs serve over 2000 local youth.

Our clubs provide diverse activities that meet the interests of all young people. Core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and to reach their full potential. Programs are based on physical, emotional, cultural and social needs and interests of girls and boys, and recognizing developmental principles.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the ARV was originally started using a grant from River Valley United Way and is a current funded partner. We are proud to continue partnering with this thriving community organization.
