It takes a variety of groups and strategies to change a community, not just one program. Because we have such an extensive network of partners, we can make an even more significant impact on our community. Below are the local non-profits for which we have dedicated funds this fiscal year. Many of these organizations have multiple programs funded by River Valley United Way.

211 Arkansas 211 connects callers, at no cost, to critical health and human services in their community.
Emergency Food & Shelter Program Awarded only in communities served by United Way, this program provides much needed federal funding to local non-profits.
Stuff the Bus River Valley United Way's Stuff the Bus supply drive provides students with new school supplies—preparing them for their academic studies, building their self-esteem, and setting them up for success.
NALC Annual Food Drive Always the second Saturday in May - RAIN OR SHINE! Carriers collect non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes and in post offices. United Way volunteers distribute donations to local food pantries the same day.
Day of Caring Day of Caring is the largest community-wide volunteer event across our region, serving Pope, Johnson and Yell counties. Volunteers connect with co-workers, friends, and family to spend the day helping local nonprofits.
