Run a Workplace Campaign

Many companies and organizations run campaigns for River Valley United Way each year. Not only do campaigns enhance corporate giving programs and provide tax benefits, they also build employee morale and a sense of teamwork by engaging employees in critical community issues. Campaigns are held at small businesses and large corporations in a variety of industries ranging from construction to banking.

Benefits of a River Valley United Way Workplace Campaign

A United Way workplace campaign benefits both your company and your community in many ways:

· Increases employee morale and teamwork

· An easy and convenient way for your employees to give back to the community

· Maximizes the impact of your employees’ gifts

· Educates employees about giving opportunities, allowing them to make informed giving decisions

· Provides information about services available in the River Valley, enabling employees to access these services for themselves, friends and families

· Community and media recognition

· Tax benefits to the individual donors and the company

River Valley United Way has been helping residents of Pope, Johnson and Yell counties for more than 50 years. In that time, we have invested more than 20 million dollars in our community. River Valley United Way invests in local programs. Local programs help local people. Your donation stays here in our community.

Together, we can provide vital health and human services—and create a real, lasting change in our community. River Valley United Way is a volunteer-driven organization. Volunteers raise the money, decide how the money is invested and a volunteer Board of Directors oversees the entire process. River Valley United Way has two staff members who facilitate the process and programs.

How Your Donation is Invested:

United Way funds programs that focus on the building blocks of a safe and stable life: education, financial stability and health

Education: Recognizing the vital importance of school readiness and literacy, the River Valley United Way supports education programs and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Pope and Johnson County

Financial Stability: To insure basic needs are met and everyone has the opportunity to move toward self-sufficiency

Health: Good health is about more than physical well-being. It is also about making sure everyone can escape abusive situations and avoid risky behaviors. River Valley United Way partners with programs to ensure our community is a health one.

Mission Statement

River Valley United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of everyone in our community.
